About Us

Our family has raised guinea fowl for over a decade. However, there was not much interest in the birds until our dog brought back a lone guinea egg. After candling it and realizing it had already started incubation, we decided to hatch this little chick. Sure enough, it hatched and quickly became a family favorite. Although we originally named her Eva, her nickname, Baby Guinea, stuck. She was a kind and sweet guinea who would walk up to humans looking for pets or food. She acted more like a dog than a guinea. Soon, we decided to incubate even more guinea keets because of the enjoyable experience with Baby Guinea.  Baby Guinea was one of our favorite pets of all time, and we began to raise keets as a business, we thought it was only fitting that her name would name the business. Baby Guinea's current descendant is a cock named Freddie.
